Öjbro Vantfabrik was founded with a clear intention: to create contemporary pattern design with its roots deeply embedded in our Nordic cultural heritage.
All patterns are drawn from the ground up by Åse Öjbro. We work with folkloric traditional patterns that are shaped into products in a small-scale process where craftsmanship and industry meet.
Not to be mass-produced, but so that each product may carry Åse’s ideas, tradition and care further into today’s homes.
Our craftsmanship is not for everyone.
It is for those who appreciate the unique, the individual and the genuine in every detail.
Our Craft
We carry our sizes in Small, Medium and Large, and our things are machine-knitted with a lot of manual work. The laying on of hands is unique, so no two products are alike. It can be difficult for some, crafting isn't for everyone, but that's how we want it.
If you know yourself that everything should be exactly the same and accurate to the millimeter, then our craft is probably not for you. If, on the other hand, you love the craft, you love that everything is unique, you love the individual, you love the best materials, you love the little things. Yes, then you have come to the right place.
We are a small family business, with approximate millimeters and a lot of manual work in all of our quality products.

Öjbro Vantfabrik’s range.
We create our patterns and colourways with a traditional Nordic feel.
Each pattern carries its own story, with a design narrative that finds a natural place in everyday life through our products.
You can adorn your home with our wool blankets, combined with our cushion covers and sitting pads. With us, you will also find GOTS-certified towels.
Our mittens have an obvious place on cold days. We offer both mittens and gloves, as well as mittens for the little ones. We also have our wrist warmers, which are suitable all year round.
For your feet, we offer comfortable wool socks. They are thicker and higher than an ordinary sock, and are therefore well suited as an outer layer on the feet. Slightly thinner are our merino socks and sneaker socks.
